We do our best to get the bonus patterns posted shortly after the magazine goes on sale each year. Sometimes it takes a little extra time if corrections are needed during the proofing process. All patterns should be posted by the start of the Shop Hop.
FreedomMichelle Tuller – Corner Curve Quilts
Michelle crafted her first quilt while preparing for college, with the help of her mother, and has since crafted over 300 quilts in 30 years, mostly of her own design. After 20 years of designing quilts, Michelle began writing and selling her patterns on her website. Her work has been showcased at major national quilt shows and local fairs. Cheryl Nelson is the owner and quilt enthusiast behind Pink Parakeet Designs, known for her creative patterns and passion for fabric. Her designs, crafted with care and attention to detail, are sold in quilt shops nationwide and on Etsy, where she connects with customers around the world. Cheryl thrives on inspiration from everyday life–music, sunny days, a touch of whimsy, and…flamingos! Each pattern tells a story, and she hopes her designs inspire others to create. She enjoys engaging with fellow creators, especially at Camp Tecumseh Quilt Camp in Delphi, Indiana, where every conversation is a learning opportunity.
Starry NightRobin Jacobs – A Quilted Home
Robin began sewing at 12 at her mother’s knee. Mixing individual fabrics into nifty creations, a process that never fails to amaze, spawned a cherished family tradition through her kids and grandkids. Working at a quilt shop between custom jobs allowed Robin to connect with diverse customers and explore their unique designs. “As a Christian, I believe God has given me this talent to use for others.” Whether crafting custom designs or utilizing traditional patterns, tailoring her work to her clients’ needs fills her cup daily.

This mother-daughters team – Crystal and teen daughters Brooklynn and Daytonna – thrive when creating together and enjoy designing easy to follow quilt patterns. From traditional to modern or vintage with a flair, these gals are always ready to create something new and exciting to share with you! Marlene Oddie is an engineer by education, project manager by profession, and a quilter by passion. Based out of Grand Coulee, WA at her quilt shop, KISSed Quilts, she quilts for hire on a Gammill Optimum Plus, but especially enjoys designing quilts and assisting in the creation of a meaningful treasure for the recipient. Fort CrawfordCarolyn Clark & Dianne Rissman – Forest Mills Quilt Shop
Carolyn started her first quilt in sixth grade; it is still not done. Dianne started and finished her first quilt when she was 30. The sisters started out handquilting and had several quilts compete in local and national shows. In 2004, they started the Forest Mills Quilt Shop on the family’s Century Farm along the Yellow River. The name came from the small town that was originally on the farm, and an original millstone is on display at the front entrance of the shop.

Anne began quilting in 2001 and has since become a prominent figure in her quilting community. As a speaker, award-winning quilter, and pattern designer, she shares her experience and expertise through teaching all things quilty. Anne channels her passion into creating vibrant quilt patterns that are visually stunning yet still accessible to quilters of all levels. Her recent project showcases the clever use of panel and untraditional block use, transforming these fabrics into a stunning keepsake.
Cabin by the LakeLucy Blum – Lucy Blum Quilts
Lucy’s lifelong love of sewing, sparked by her mother and grandmother, blossomed into a quilting journey in 2016. She is now a vibrant part of the quilting community as a skilled instructor, pattern designer, and tech editor. Deeply involved in local groups, she enjoys teaching new techniques and creating charity quilts. Her favorite moments are selecting fabrics and piecing them together.
